Car cricket. great game, as far as I’m concerned, and if you are like me, and don’t like real cricket, you will be glad to know that it barely has anything to do with the real game. This game is great to play on long game trips,in the city however, you’ll discover that it doesn’t work so well.
The rules are simple, one person at a time comes up to ‘bat’, and they score ‘runs’ when vehicles are sighted. White cars are worth one run, coloured cars are worth two runs, and black cars are worth two runs. Or one, depending on whether you want to get really technical, and say that black isn’t actually a colour. Your call. But for the sake of the argument, we will assume black is a colour and worth two runs. Motor homes are worth four runs, and trucks are worth six runs. Any vehicle towing anything collects an additional run. And red cars, they get you out.
For cars to count as runs they must be moving and traveling in the opposite direction. If you get one hundred runs, you retire, and if you are the first to get one hundred runs, you win. If no one reaches one hundred runs, the person with the most runs win. It’s quite entertaining, if there are enough cars on the road. So have fun and good luck!
